Death is no time to go to pieces…

Elizabeth Jensen’s cheating husband dies when he steps in front of a tour bus on the Las Vegas strip, leaving her with unanswered questions about their marriage.

When packages arrive at the apartments of his mistresses – all containing a severed body part and bearing Robert’s return address, postmarked after his death – the police intervene and Elizabeth’s problems multiply.

As bizarre details come to light, Elizabeth’s friendship with a childhood sweetheart deepens into something more and the accidental nature of Robert’s death is thrown into question. She and Joe are now suspects.

What happened to Robert Jensen and who is behind these deadly parcels?

Barbara Hinske is one of my favorite authors. I loved her “Rosemont” series!
I read this book in 2-3 days. I couldn’t put it down! The characters were very interesting and I wasn’t able to guess who did it.
This was her first murder mystery and it was extremely well written. Her writing was detailed and painted a good visual of the story being told. I was kept hanging until the very end!
The story, in my opinion, ended how it should have. I was happy with that.
Her writing is always a pleasure to read!

As I started reading this book I was instantly shocked but also hooked by the middle of the first chapter. When I read, I get totally immersed in what I am reading and this book takes you to each scene as though you are there yourself. The anticipation of what is going to happen next in this compelling “who done it” will keep you on the edge of your seat until you’ve finished the last chapter. Well done, Barbara Hinske!!

I knew from page one I was not in Rosemont at the moment. A page turner. From the first paragraph I could not wait to see this story unfold. It tells the story of how one deceitful person can harm so many lives. The intertwining of characters was great. You just did not know who was capable of doing what. Do not want to give the plot away because it is a fabulous read right from the first sentence.
