I thoroughly enjoyed this novella and hope that the author will continue to write an annual Christmas book. They are a feel-good escape from the times we’re living in.
Another winner from Barbara Hinske. With real characters that you can relate to and Issues that affect so many of us, it is easy to become buried in this book right away. And I did. Finished it in one sitting because I wanted to know what was going to happen. Barbara’s books always keep your interest and this book is no different. I encourage you to read this book and all her books. You won’t be sorry.
Barbara Hinske has done it again. Paws & Pastries is a story of hope for a woman who has stepped away from a marriage where her husband is a serial cheater and cares for no one but himself. Rather than getting upset, ranting and raving, Clara strikes out to discover where life will lead her. Car trouble intervenes and she finds herself in Pinewood where life gets very interesting.
Barbara Hinske has done it again! Paws and Pasteries is a Heartwarming story of marriage, divorce, new friendships, and finding new beginnings where you least expect it! It’s a story of courage and strength and shows sometimes in life, you have to take a leap of faith! Beginning all over somewhere new, opening a business and gaining a furry friend a long the way to share it with! I give it 5 stars!

Barbara Hinske never fails to entertain and this book is no exception. I thoroughly enjoyed this story about a strong and courageous woman who is starting over. A chance occurrence lands our heroine Clara in the perfect place for her particular talents. This is a feel good story with something for everyone. The characters are interesting, kind and full of life. I hope there will be more books to follow about this special town and Clara.
