1. This one is really easy and economical, and will generate a lot of goodwill in your neighborhood.
2. Invite your neighbors for an old-fashioned ice cream social on your front lawn on a Sunday afternoon.
3. Set up a folding table, get two or three different flavors of ice cream, toppings, cones, bowls, and spoons and you’ve got it!
4. Have water available for your beverage. No need for anything else.
5. Set up croquet or badminton or other games, depending on the age of the crowd.
6. You can have contests and prizes if you want.
7. Provide folding chairs and blankets or towels for seating.
8. This can be done very impromptu when you’ve seen the forecast and know that the weather will cooperate. Just put a flyer on your neighbors’ doors.
9. Clean-up is a breeze and you’ll have fun!
